The Inverness Post Office will be re-dedicated to Aaron Weaver on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 1:00pm.

DEDICATION CEREMONY HONORING CHAPTER 776 NAMESAKE AARON A. WEAVER

Please join Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite for the U.S. Post Office Dedication Ceremony in honor of Chief Warrant Officer Aaron A. Weaver, U.S. Army, who was killed in action in Fallujah, Iraq, January 8, 2004.

TIME: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27

WHERE:  Inverness Post Office, 1400 Highway 41 North, Inverness, Florida

Due to very limited parking on the grounds of the Inverness Post Office and space needed for the ceremony, please park at the adjacent Inverness Regional Shopping Center.  Shuttle service will be available for those requiring it.

All Aaron A. Weaver Chapter 776 members are strongly encouraged to attend the ceremony since the Chapter initiated the process to have the Inverness Post Office named in honor of Aaron for whom our chapter is named.  Chapter members who have the chapter cap, blazer and tie are requested to wear them.  All other chapter members are requested to wear whatever Purple Heart items they may have.  If you have no Purple Heart items please attend.  As members of Aaron. A. Weaver Chapter 776 MOPH, the important thing is that we attend the dedication ceremony to honor a fellow Patriot and his family.

The post office is located on CR41 north between Long John Silver and the K-Mart/Publix strip mall. It’s suggested to park in the Publix parking lot because the post office has very limited parking. The ceremony will take place in the rear of the post office building (because of the limited parking).
