Fundraising. Ideas???
The Board suggests having one (1) fundraiser a year and that it not necessarily be a poker run. Poker runs are for bikers.
A committee will investigate different ideas for a fundraiser. That committee will consist of Rick Parker (chair), Don Garnett, George Harris, Penny Thompson, and Linda King will report their findings/suggestions to the Board by the March 2007 meeting.

Skeet’s Barbeque in Dunnellon, FL at 7pm.
Everyone is encouraged to attend even if you’re not “on” the committee.
We are leaving from the Inverness VFW at 8:00. that gives us two hours to make it to the funeral home. We will be met there by several other members from other chapters, notably Chapter one. Moe, Fran and John I know of for sure.
We will go East on SR 44 to 301 South then South on 301 to Brandon. I will turn off of 301 on to McIntosh Road and take it down to MLK in North Brandon, then East to Lakewood Drive, Then South to SR 60. Go East then about 1/4 mile to Stowers Funeral Home on the right.
Thanks to those that have already offered to help out. I know the family appreciates it. The Son is a Rolling Thunder member from TN and is flying in. He will be proud to see his brothers and sisters supporting him in this sad time.
I will see those than can make it Fri. morning.

We have had a request from a brother in a Rolling Thunder Chapter in Tennessee. His father, whom is a Vietnam Vet, (Bronze Star) has passed and he would like for Rolling Thunder to escort the remains. The funeral service is Friday Morning at 10:00 AM in Brandon at Stowers Funeral home on State Road 60. We would then escort the remains back to Bushnell for internment at 12:30.
Can anyone ride with me down and escort the remains back?? Please e-mail me if you are able to help.

A poker run fundraiser for Will Harris will be held on January 07, 2007. Registration at the American Legion in Crystal River. Breakfast at 8:00am with the first bike out at 10:00am. Run ends at Water’s Edge in Lake Panasoffkee.
